BUYBACK FAQ

BUYBACK is a program that allows EMMYDEVEAUX to test innovative ways to extend our commitment to sustainability. We are so excited you want to be part of a program that will reinvent the standards of sustainability in the fashion industry. Learn more about the BUYBACK Program here. HOW IT WORKS?

The BUYBACK Program allows you to submit gently worn EMMYDEVEAUX pieces that you may not be reaching for as much as you thought you would. In exchange for submitting an item, you will receive a BUYBACK Credit to use towards product on emmydeveaux.com.

WHAT DO YOU GET?

  • For items that can be traced to your account you will get 50% back of the price you paid (minus tax and other discounts).
  • For items that cannot be found on your account, you will get back 30% of the retail price of the product.  
  • The amount will be issued to you as a BUYBACK Credit that can be used on emmydeveaux.com like a gift card. 

The BUYBACK Credit will be emailed to you once the items have been received at our head office and inspected.

WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE?

  • Unfortunately, items that were purchased by customers in the United States are not eligible for the BUYBACK Program. This includes items purchased through the BUYBACK program.
  • Any items that are a part of the BASICALLY NUDE collection are not eligible for the BUYBACK Program.
  • Some items that are made of our pleather fabric are not eligible for the BUYBACK Program, due to the nature of the wear of the fabric. This includes the Pleather Leggings and Pleather Joggers. 
  • The Ankle and Thigh High Boots are not eligible for the BUYBACK Program. 
  • Hats and toques are not eligible for the BUYBACK Program.

HOW DO I SUBMIT A PIECE?

  1. Print out the packing slip and fill in the requested information. The packing slip is important to include with the items you are sending back so we can find the correct account and the details of the items you want to submit.
  2. Fill out the return shipping label information, download the label and print it off. You can find the return label here and the return ID is PR933849.
    $10 SHIPPING FEE WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR CREDIT WHEN YOU SHIP ITEMS BACK!
  3. Pack up the items you would like to submit to BUYBACK in the SMALLEST package possible. Make sure you include the packing slip.
  4. Attach the return label to the package and drop it off at your nearest Canada Post location.

WHEN WILL MY CREDIT BE ISSUED?

Your BUYBACK Credit will be issued when the items are received and inspected at our warehouse (Edmonton). The time it takes for shipping will depend on your location. If you are in Alberta, it will usually only take a couple business days but if you are farther away, for example, Toronto, it will take about 4-6 business days. Canada Post is not guaranteeing delivery dates right now, so these timeframes are only estimates! 

Once we receive the BUYBACK items it can take a few days to process, so don’t panic if your credit isn’t issued the moment it arrives.

You will know your items have been processed when your BUYBACK Credit is emailed to you!

WHAT CAN I USE MY BUYBACK CREDIT ON?

Your BUYBACK Credit can be used on any regular price product on emmydeveaux.com.

Remember you have 3 months from the date of issue to use your BUYBACK Credit before it expires!

HOW DO I USE MY BUYBACK CREDIT?

BUYBACK Credits work just like our digital gift cards! They only are eligible to be used on https://emmydeveaux.com/. 

USNG A BUYBACK CREDIT ONLINE

Once you have all your items in your cart, proceed to the check out. Once at the checkout find the Gift Card code box and enter the code you received via email. You will know the code has worked because you will see it deduct the amount of the BUYBACK Credit from the total.

You can find the box to enter the Gift Card code at the right side of the screen.

ENTERING GIFT CARD CODE ON MOBILE

To enter the Gift Card code on mobile you need to expand the Show Order Summary section. 

SHOP BUYBACK ITEMS

  • To shop BUYBACK items visit edbuyback.com on the 10th day of every month from 10 am - 10 pm! New BUYBACK items will be added each month!
  • If you have purchased BUYBACK items and need to pay for shipping please email support@emmydeveaux.com.
